Red Chile Hummus

MAKES ABOUT 2-1/2 CUPS

INGREDIENTS

1 15 oz can garbanzo beans
1-1/2 tbsp tahini
1 lg garlic clove
1 lime, juice only
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 cup Select New Mexico Red Chile Sauce
1/4 tsp smoked Spanish paprika (or to taste)

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine first 5 ingredients in food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
2. Stir in red chile sauce and smoked Paprika. Partially blend to get both lighter and darker red swirls, giving an inviting appearance.
3. Serve with 505 Southwestern Hint of Hatch or White Corn tortilla chips, pita chips, or fresh veggies.
